counseling from the University of Houston.
She graduated in May 2013 and is continuing her work with Dr. Forrester as a Licensed Professional Counselor.
Amanda enjoys working with children and has experience with a
variety of different age groups. She loves
their imaginations, their ideas, and how they play. Amanda currently works with children in individual
therapy, dyad and family therapy, and group therapy. She also works with children in their school
environments (on-site) when the need arises.
Amanda focuses on the needs of the individual child, and
works in partnership with their family to support their goals and progress. She
feels that a child’s success depends on early intervention and teamwork between
all who are involved in the child’s life.
