Felicia L. Wolf, Psy.D.
Dr. Wolf earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering
from The Cooper Union (New York City) in 2005. However, after taking a child
psychology class, she realized that her passion lay in working with children.
She went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hunter College, City
University of New York in 2010, followed by a Masters in School Psychology in
2013 from Yeshiva University. She received her Doctor of Psychology in
School-Clinical Child Psychology from Yeshiva University in 2017. She completed
her Pre-Doctoral Psychology Internship at the Department of Psychiatry and
Behavioral Sciences, University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston in
August 2017. Dr. Wolf began working with Dr. Forrester in September 2017 as a
Dr. Wolf has worked with children, adolescents, and families in a
variety of settings, including public schools, private and outpatient clinics,
foster care and inpatient hospitals. Her experience ranges from working with
clients with moderate social impairments to those who struggle with significant
impairments across multiple domains of their life. She has provided clinical
services for a variety of psychiatric diagnosis, including Generalized Anxiety Disorder,
Major Depressive Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress
Disorder, and Bipolar Disorder. Dr. Wolf has also worked with children with learning
disabilities, intellectual disability and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Currently, Dr.
Wolf provides individual and group therapy services to children diagnosed with
ADHD and comorbid disorders, such as anxiety, phobias and/or
oppositionality. She specializes in providing
evidence-based interventions for anxiety disorders.
Dr. Wolf feels that each child is unique and
tailors her treatment to reflect the child’s individual abilities and skills.
She works primarily from a cognitive behavioral therapy framework while
incorporating play and social skills training to meet the needs of the
individual child. Dr. Wolf strongly believes in working collaboratively with
parents in order to facilitate healthy psychological growth and development.
