Michelle M. Forrester, PhD, PC - Services for Young Children & Families
Jennifer Keltner, MEd, LPC

Jennifer Keltner was born and raised in Texas and is happy to call Houston her home.  She graduated from Southwestern University (Georgetown, Texas) in December 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.  For graduate school, she returned home to Houston to attend the University of Houston.
Jennifer began working with Dr. Forrester in January 2016 as a practicum student while she was earning her Master of Education degree in counseling from the University of Houston.  She graduated in August 2016 and is continuing her work with Dr. Forrester as a Licensed Professional Counselor.

Jennifer’s passion for working with young children is immediately evident when she interacts with them.  Young children find themselves at ease with Jennifer because she has a gentle and nurturing way about her. She enjoys working with children to help them discover their own strengths and to find effective ways to handle difficulties.  Jennifer is forever amazed by their creativity and imagination.

Jennifer believes that early intervention offers life-long benefits. She enjoys working with the team at Dr. Forrester’s office to offer individual therapy, dyad therapy, and group therapy. Jennifer also works with children in their school environments, offering support within the classroom and consultation with teachers about how to help her client be successful.

Jennifer understands the importance of partnering with the child’s family.  She keeps an open line of communication with parents and establishes a partnership to support the child’s goals and progress.
